A birth year wine purchased at auction that was past its best but still interesting and enjoyable.
We did not decant since the wine was likely to fall apart under such stresses, the fruit emerged after the bottle was opened for around 30min then began to fade. Decent length and still a little fine zesty tannin to keep things interesting.
